We needed a user-friendly and helpful web site to gather client data and hold this securely for translation into relevant formats for a wide audience (panel of lenders). We also wanted to empower the users to deal with their contribution (the loan application form) in their own time at their own pace. The website permits this and it allows users to revisit us in future to update their details whether to complete an existing application or to apply for further borrowings or make other changes to their current facilities (e.g. refinance). We wanted to provide users with a full range of relevant information that we had previously provided by telephone and mail. The result is a sophisticated range of easy-to-use calculators that give users their answers in plain English. Also, we provide some relevant FAQs and a home buyers’ guide which covers the entire process.

We are excited to again be associated with the team at Mortgage Warehouse and enjoyed the challenges they give us for their upgrade website requirements.  Our business partner MetaSolutions provided us with the 'new look' design which we then used to 'skin' the new look over the existing website.  We did this by using CSS.  All information and data on the site was unaffected by the change.  Changing how a website looks using CSS is comparable to changing your clothes.  The underlying 'body' of the site does not change, just the 'clothes'.

Functionality has not been changed or compromised with this upgrade and like it's predecessor, is a collaboration of Zope and Plone technology.  The effect of the new look has given the website an overall streamlined look and feel while retaining the important "ease of use" and "accessible" nature that the site has become known for among it's past visitors, clients and staff. 

Visitors to the Mortgage Warehouse website are able to search for specialist loan and mortgage help topics using the "Live" search feature or look through the extensive FAQ section in the  'Help Centre'.  Visitors can also experiment with the available calculators.  You may like to try out a few. Discover how much you could borrow by specifying the amount of rent you currently pay or discover how much you could save by paying off a loan quicker.  

Mortgage Warehouse Clients have the ability to apply for mortgages online from anywhere in the world and any time.  Online loan applications are worked on at the convenience of the client and submitted when they are ready. This type of flexibility is great for shift-workers, or people moving from another country for instance.

For the staff at Mortgage Warehouse, the website still offers the unique workflow functionality that allows for the automatic processing of applications. In whole, or in part, documents, information or tasks are passed from one participant to another to be processed, according to a set of procedural rules. This provides accurate management of all their client applications from beginning to end.
