Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) code allows us to create the 'look and feel' of a website as per design specifications.  Font size, look and colour can all be changed by CSS code, as well as image placement.  Correct coding of CSS provides a website with a 'uniformity'.  For instance, headings and links can be the same size, type and colour.  Images the same size, or with the same borders and spacings.  However, when required, individual pages can deviate from the norm if a 'stand out' appearance is desired.
